Our History

At a young age, Wim Mulleman started a trade in metals. Continued by son-in-law Theo van Vuuren and now with Wilco and Rick van Vuuren as third and fourth generation at the helm, Van Vuuren VOF has been a family business with short lines of communication for over 70 years.

We highly value personal contact and tailor-made advice. Still active in metal recycling and since 2007 also in the purchase and sale of pallets.

Our Journey Through the Years

The Early Years

Wim Mulleman starts a small trade in metals. The foundation is laid for what would grow into a family business for generations.

1950

Family Business

Son-in-law Theo van Vuuren takes over the company and continues the tradition. The business grows steadily in metal recycling.

1975

Third Generation

Wilco van Vuuren joins the company. New innovations and expansion of services are introduced.

1995

Pallets Business

Van Vuuren VOF starts buying and selling pallets. A natural extension of the recycling activities.

2007

Fourth Generation

Rick van Vuuren joins the company. Modernization and digital transformation take center stage.

Today
